The Broomfield Police Department arrested one man in connection with a homicide in Broomfield’s Anthem neighborhood, the department stated in a release Monday morning.
According to the release, 43-year-old Daniel Krug was arrested Saturday night and charged with first-degree murder. Krug is being held in the Broomfield County Jail without bond.
Broomfield Police were called in for a welfare check at a home in the 3100 block of Promontory Loop just before 1 p.m. on Thursday, according to a social media post by the department. When officers arrived, they found a 43-year-old woman deceased inside.
The woman will be identified by the Adams and Broomfield County Coroner.
