The Arvada Police Department arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with the discovery of a 29-year-old woman’s body inside of a black box next to a dumpster near an apartment building.
Daniel Ryan Clark was arrested and booked into the Jefferson County Jail Thursday on charges of tampering with a deceased human body, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence, according to an Arvada Police Department news release.
On Monday, the Arvada Police Department responded to the Perch Apartments at 7791 W. 52nd Ave. where a member of the maintenance team found what appeared to be a human body inside a black box next to a dumpster.
Police determined the body was a 29-year-old woman. Police have not released the woman’s identity at this time.
David Snelling, spokesman for Arvada Police, said the case was still under investigation and that homicide-related charges were under consideration.
