Denver police arrested a 21-year-old in connection to a downtown shooting that injured four people over the weekend.
Damion Britt is being held on suspicion of four counts of attempted murder in connection with the early Sunday shooting near the intersection of 20th and Market streets, police said Thursday.
Detectives believe Britt opened fire at another person he knew after a verbal fight escalated. The gunfire struck that person and three bystanders, police said.
The intersection is a few hundred feet south of Coors Field and on the edge of Denver’s Union Station and Five Points neighborhoods.
