At least one person is dead after a Thursday morning crash involving a semitrailer in Aurora, police said.
The fatal two-vehicle crash happened when a car and the semitrailer collided just before 3 a.m. Thursday at East 32nd Avenue and Airport Road, just off Interstate 70, according to the Aurora Police Department.
Aurora police officials said the intersection was closed for more than five hours for the crash cleanup and investigation, but no additional information — including how many people were hurt or killed — was available Thursday morning.
The closure also included the I-70 offramps onto Airport Road, police said. The intersection and off-ramps reopened around 8:20 a.m.
