By MICHAEL LIEDTKE, AP Technology Writer After deflecting the U.S. Justice Department’s attack on its illegal monopoly in online search, Google is facing another attempt to dismantle its internet empire in a trial focused on its abusive tactics in digital advertising. The trial that opened Monday in an Alexandria, Virginia, federal court revolves around the harmful conduct that resulted in U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema declaring parts of Google’s digital advertising technology to be an illegal monopoly. The judge found that Google has been engaging in behavior that stifles competition to the detriment of online publishers that depend on the system…

With the arrival of fall shortly after noon on Monday comes a reminder that now is the best time to lock in seasonal rental packages for skis and snowboards. On April 3, Kathia Blanco received an official-looking email concerning her pending immigration case. The subject line: “Notice of action.” The message indicated Blanco’s application for permanent residence had been received by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and was being processed. The email included a large U.S. Department of Homeland Security seal and a signature from Jennifer B. Higgins, acting director of the citizenship agency. Editor’s note: This is part of The Know’s series, Staff Favorites. Each week, we give our opinions on the best that Colorado has to offer for dining, shopping, entertainment, outdoor activities and more. (We’ll also let you in on some hidden gems.) One of my homes away from home this year was the Aztlan Theatre in the La Alma-Lincoln Park neighborhood. The theater’s owners, Timeo and Aurora Correa, screened movies in English and Spanish there in the 1970s and later opened it up for national touring acts as raucous as the Red Hot Chili Peppers. These years, they’ve struggled to…

INGLEWOOD, Calif. — J.K. Dobbins has spent six long years in the NFL, a running back smart enough to make it to 26 in this league because of his vision between the tackles. Because of his balance. Because of his ability to see what’s coming, as an onslaught of bodies turns toward him. He saw what was coming in the locker room Sunday, too, as an onslaught of narratives turned toward him. After Bo misses a couple of throws today — nope. Dobbins shook his head. Then he nipped a question about his quarterback in the bud before it even…

In the second straight Sunday with a gut-wrenching loss, the Broncos fell three games to the back of the pack of the AFC West with a 23-20 loss to the Chargers. Here’s The Post’s report card from the loss. OFFENSE — C- Where to even begin? The Broncos’ first three drives Sunday went for three straight three-and-outs, a haunted house of penalties, ineffective run-blocking and personnel scattering on and off the field like lab rats. Up until a two-minute drill to end the first half, Denver had exactly 42 yards of offense. And then Sean Payton cast magic. Bo Nix’s…

The parting gift for Rockies fans on Sunday afternoon was a gem from veteran left-hander Kyle Freeland and a crisp 3-1 victory over the Angels. In the final game of the season at Coors Field, the Rockies managed only four hits, but it was enough with Freeland on the mound. “It’s great to finish off with a win at home,” said Freeland, who earned the 65th win of his career, surpassing Jeff Francis for the fourth-most wins in franchise history. “It’s definitely not the season we wanted — at all. But it was nice to have a good quality baseball…
