Colorado 93 is closed between Golden and Boulder because of adverse weather conditions, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The highway was closed in both directions as of 8:30 p.m. between Coal Creek Canyon Road/Colorado 72 and Colorado 170, south of Eldorado Springs. Traffic cameras showed blowing snow covering stretches of the roadway and there are wind gusts up to 75 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
