For the third year, the organization offered teens an opportunity to find a dress for the big night. Gereaux said, Prom is so expensive already, I think it's a great opportunity for girls to get a really nice dress for a reasonable price." With a valid student ID and a suggested $10 donation, teenage girls could chose from 1,356 donated dresses that lined a long hallway at DickÕs Sporting Goods Park. (Photo By Craig F. No one should miss out on the experience of prom simply because of the expense of getting all dressed up. Fortunately, there is an inexpensive option for families on a budget. The 25th Annual Prom Dress Exchange offers more than 2,000 gently-used dresses on March 22. The event takes place at Adams 12 Five Star Schools (1500 E. 128th Ave.) in Thornton from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students will find a range of formals from minis to ball gowns. Each dress will be available for a $10 donation. However, no one will be turned away. If you have dresses you want to donate, drop them off at the venue the day of or at any Tide Cleaners location prior to the event. promdressexchange.org

    Denver Center for Performing Arts

It’s showtime! The Denver Center for Performing Arts’ next on-sale date for its discounted DCPAccess tickets is on March 25 at noon. The sale is extremely popular and often sells out quickly, so plan accordingly. Longtime patrons of the program will note that the ticket price and service fees have both increased from $10 and $1.50, respectively. However, it still remains one of the best deals in town for theater lovers on a budget. denvercenter.org/dcpa-access-sale
