President Donald Trump is asking a federal court in Florida to force Rupert Murdoch to give a deposition for the president’s lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal within 15 days, citing the media mogul’s age and physical condition. Trump sued the Journal, owned by Murdoch, is U.S. District Court in southern Florida on July 18 for its story reporting on the Republican president’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and alleged child sex trafficker who died in a New York jail in 2019 before trial. BOULDER — Deion Sanders already has a victory under his belt in 2025. The CU Buffs football coach announced Monday that he beat bladder cancer. A recently surfaced video of passengers evacuating an American Airlines flight at Denver International Airport has sparked concerns of people prioritizing luggage over safety and disregarding evacuation procedures. “3023’s aborting on the runway. … Fire on the left side,” the American Airlines pilot can be heard saying in an air traffic control recording obtained by Denver7. Video shared by Denver7 of the evacuation shows passengers sliding down the rubber slide, many holding their carry-on bags and several struggling to balance their luggage with their children. “In the unlikely event of an evacuation, leave all carry-ons behind and follow the lights…
An image provided by the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure shows a QR code sticker placed on a parking meter on Broadway that directs users to a scam website. The city only uses the Pay By Phone app to collect parking fees. (Courtesy of Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure) Scammers are placing fake QR codes on parking signs in Denver that send users to international websites instead of the city’s parking app. The first batch of fake codes appeared in Cherry Creek the first week in July, said Nancy Kuhn, spokeswoman for Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.…
Drew Sanders is facing yet another injury setback in his young NFL career. The Broncos linebacker tore a tendon in his right foot during Saturday’s practice, a source confirmed to The Denver Post on Sunday afternoon. Sanders needed a cart ride from the practice field to the team’s facility when the injury happened. When fellow linebacker Justin Strnad came over to check on him, the third-year linebacker simply responded with a thumbs-down signal. The subsequent imaging showed tendon damage. The team and Sanders are still working through exactly what the treatment plan will look like and whether he’ll need surgery,…
Charles Barkley knows what you did this summer, Jon Wallace and Ben Tenzer. And he loves it. “I think (the Nuggets) and the Houston Rockets have probably had the best summers (in the NBA),” Barkley, the longtime hoops analyst/icon, told me last Saturday night at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. “And (the Nuggets), they’ve got the best player in the world (in Nikola Jokic). They just needed some more depth. They kind of broke the team up after they won the first championship (2023), and that’s really unfortunate. (They’ve) still got the best player. You want to give them…

By LAURA UNGAR Carol Seeger finally escaped her debilitating depression with an experimental treatment that placed electrodes in her brain and a pacemaker-like device in her chest. But when its batteries stopped working, insurance wouldn’t pay to fix the problem and she sank back into a dangerous darkness. She worried for her life, asking herself: “Why am I putting myself through this?” Seeger’s predicament highlights a growing problem for hundreds of people with experimental neural implants, including those for depression, quadriplegia and other conditions. Although these patients take big risks to advance science, there’s no guarantee that their devices will…
