State Rep. Mike Lynch, the embattled top Colorado House Republican and congressional candidate whose 2022 drunken driving arrest was revealed last week, said Wednesday he was stepping down as minority leader. Lynch made his announcement from the House floor, shortly after sending an email to the 18 other members of the Republican caucus. He is not resigning from the House overall. His decision came one week after The Denver Post first reported on his arrest, which hadn’t been known among most — if not all — of his GOP colleagues. He narrowly survived a first no-confidence vote Monday and was…

INDIANAPOLIS — Nikola Jokic’s eyes lit up more than usual when the next question was about basketball. In a week of shock and grief, the sport Jokic is widely perceived to trivialize has in fact been a sanctuary and source of joy. He didn’t want to speak much about his former coach, Dejan Milojevic, during his first interview since Milojevic’s unexpected death at age 46 last week. But when the questions turned from that topic to the Nuggets’ stirring 114-109 over the Pacers, Jokic — a superstar known for his occasionally sardonic dealings with the press — enthusiastically reviewed the…

I didn’t look at anything, I didn’t watch anything, I didn’t look at the internet.” He could have spared himself the angst. Because,…

A dispute sparked between the team’s two best free throw shooters. Cue rock-paper-scissors. “He’s a little older than me, so I understand where he was coming from,” Jamal Murray said, mocking Caldwell-Pope…
