The Nuggets used a career game at the foul line by Nikola Jokic, key buckets from Jamal Murray down the stretch and tenacious defense by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to wrap up a 120-114 Christmas Day victory over Golden State. But from the point of view of Warriors coach Steve Kerr, the Nuggets’ victory was gift-wrapped by an inordinate number of cheap fouls. “I have no problems with officials themselves. All across the league, we have really good officials,” Kerr said after the Nuggets made 26 of 32 free throws, including an 18-of-18 by Jokic in a game where he shot an…

Lawmakers approved funding for the first Firehawk, at a cost of $24 million, in 2021 with near-unanimous votes in both chambers just months after…

Finally, after most of a quarter spent climbing out of a hole they dug themselves, the Broncos had control of Sunday night’s game against lowly New England and a chance to actually win it. Set up first-and-10 at their own 39-yard line with 1 minute, 42 seconds to go in a tie game, the Broncos had several paths to the finish line. They only needed about 25 yards to get to field goal range and give kicker Wil Lutz a chance to win the game. At worst, they should have made it to overtime. Instead, they suffered a crushing 26-23…
