With the season opener nearly eight months away, the Colorado football roster certainly isn’t complete. Last year, head coach Deion Sanders and his staff made significant roster moves in the winter and again in the spring and even made some tweaks as late as August. The Topgolf employee Thornton police allege shot and killed a coworker in the business’s parking lot Dec. 23 clocked out early and waited in the parking lot for an hour before apparently ambushing the victim and firing 12 rounds at him, according to a probable cause affidavit. A familiar trend resurfaced Friday night as the Nuggets let a home game slip away against the depleted Orlando Magic. When Michael Porter Jr. drained his second 3-pointer in the first 90 seconds of the third quarter, Denver stretched its lead to a game-high 74-56.
